How We Work
For the Love of a Child works with local NGO’s on the ground to empower the local community. We don’t create dependency, and we aim to give those working a decent wage so they can feed their own families.
What Will You Receive
You will receive regular updates on our work as it progresses in Iraq. We do this through a newsletter online to save printing costs so your money goes directly to where it is needed.
Although you will sponsor a child in the Sam’s house programme we are unable at this time to release specific children’s names due to security. But know that by sponsoring just one child you will make a huge difference in their lives.

About Us
For the Love of a Child is a Scottish Christian faith based charity and was founded in 2010 by Tom and Donna Jennings following the tragic death of their little boy Samuel.
Sam died suddenly at just five years old from heart failure whilst happily playing at a fruit farm. This tragedy was the catalyst for Tom and Donna to look for ways to bring hope and love into the lives of children and families who have also suffered with trauma and loss.
